A simulation study carried out by Saker Solutions, in conjunction with BP, has enabled Nerefco to optimise offsite facilities' performance and identify savings worth millions of dollars over the life of the project. 

Saker's simulation services enabled the production planning department to analyse the impact of, and therefore validate, strategic choices including increasing the throughput of one product grade by 10%, minimising demurrage and maximising tank and pipeline utilisation, all while reducing the risk associated with implementing changes for the decision makers, by modelling the scenarios in a risk-free simulation environment.
